Hi there everybody! This is the deal ... My college just re-did the cafateria and wants to decorate it with student artwork. They're having a competition to get the art pieces. So the only guilines were that the minimum legnth is 18 inches, the max is 40 inches, and it has to be 'food related'. So I just bought some strechers ... they are 18 x 29. I need some ideas though! I'm thinking about painting a huge hot dog bun with a banana inside it. I'm streching the canvas now, I might prime it too if I don't fall asleep first - I am maaaaad tired!
Draw some guy that just smoked a lot of weed...now he has the munchies and is fantasizing about hot dogs. ...I'm not sure if they'll be too cool with that one though.
Ha ha ha ... I love it! Like have a total stoner lookin character with a huge 'think bubble' filled with cupcakes, chips, pretzels, soda, and candy ...
Alright, i'm done with step 1, streching the canvas. I love doing that ... My high school art teacher told me I strech the tightest canvas' ever. Makes your hands pretty sore if it's a larger one though. ha ha, heres a visual.
