Smuggling pot from overseas

I'll be leaving to Amsterdam a little later this year for the Cannabis Cup awards, and I was thinking that I might want to bring some of the bud I acquire over there back here. However, I've never smuggled pot before, and thus have no idea how to go about doing this. any ideas?

 

as tempting as it may be, its not a good idea... the risks you take are huge, espically just for some bud
its a major felony to bring pot into the country

 

maybe send it in some food (like peanut butter) in the mail.

 

doesnt overseas mail go through a screening..? how bout this.. rent a P.O. box with a false name and address, then mail it from amsterdam with a fake return address... mail the bud in a peanut butter can in a a box to the PO box

yea, honestly, that's really what I was planning on importing, the hash. I saw a video on amsterdam the other day, and it showed all the different coffee shops, and the hash you can get, and my mouth like started to water...so, I was just wanting to bring over a few grams of hash....maybe some good bud, but, back in Austin I can pretty much get any kind of bud I want, so....But, wouldn't hash be slightly easier to smuggle, seeing as it's form is a little more travel-friendly?

as i understand, the cannabis cup doesnt go just on good weed... its all about thwe actual coffee shop, atmosphere etc.

if you check out the amsterdam forum here, many regular visiters to the country say they can get better bud elsewhere.

as to music man, yes, if I should ever visit s.a., I'll let ya know, and that's a real possibility seeing as my grandmother is moving there in a few months...
I have smoked some stuff that's been in the Cannabis Cup before, and can get smoke like that pretty easily in Austin. I'm not so much worried about smuggling the pot as I am the hashish. You can't get hash in atx....and I think bringing a few grams of that would be at least somewhat easy, I just don't want to get caught. I've heard of people just mailing it to themselves, like a few of you have said, and that doesn't sound like such a bad idea. But, again, just not in the mood to deal with customs agents let alone the dea...

how did you get the money to go to the Cannabis Cup Awards?

 

the tickets are $200 plus the ticket to amsterdam, the hotel, food, etc....I payed for the judging tickets at the cannabis cup myself, after painstakingly saving for almost 4 months, and my grandmother is paying the $1500 for everything else. I'm meeting her there in Amsterdam, and we're gonna do the pot judging together.....gotta love family bonding....
