i know how this will sound...

i know this is going to sound a little bit "mom like," but i dont mean it that way at all. i'm not really sure where to put this, so if its in the wrong thread, sorry.

one of my really close friends has a little bit of a self-control problem. moderation with this guy isn't even existent. he told me recently that he's started doing coke and acid again. he messed around with the stuff a little bit when we were younger, but he quit. for now, i'm not worried about him, because he's a really smart guy and i think he'll do his best to be careful. my only concern is that he may get out of control.

so i was wondering, are there any pretty universal signs that someone is getting into it too much? he asked me to keep an eye on him, and i just want to be aware of what i should be looking for. like i said, i think right now he's mostly just having fun and partying a little.

 

if he was actually addicted (by that i mean seriously addicted, not just a user) when he was younger, then any coke he is doing now is too much... why do u care if he does acid? acid doesnt harm your body, and its not addictive.

If he's as smart as you say he is, and he is starting to get addicted to a drug, and he wants to hide it from you, then you might not find out. Some signs though might be (all for coke)...
-never having any money
-not doing the things he used to find fun (cause instead he's doin coke)
-dropping weight
-shaking slightly
-bloody noses

other then that i really couldnt help you.. as much as we all hate these, i would recommend an antidrug site like www.drugfree.org .. i bet they have something bout this

he was never addicted before, we both just experimented a few times. and i'm totally fine with him doing acid, i just want him to be careful about where he gets it and stuff. ya know... dont want him to get ahold of some bad stuff.

thanks for the advice. i've got nothing against casual use, i just really dont want to see my best friend end up in prision or rehab like a lot of other kids we know.

 

o yea i understand.. ull prolley know if he's gettin to involved with coke.. like seancourt said, its pretty easy to spot a cokehead

 

see, this is why I think Ibogaine should be more readily available, and uncontrolled, or at least C-III.

pass it off as cocaine, heroin, meth, whatever the drug of choice... sit back and watch them trip scrotum for about 18 hours; they're not likely to go searching for their shit after that (though it's more effective if repeated....still, they won't trust any white powder after experiencing that)
