Doubt it, you'd probably just get extreme burning in the chest area. I dunno though, I've had some harsh hits in the past and they're not cool at all.
This is sorta off topic but here is some information i put together concerning dieing from an actual THC overdose The LD-50 is reported to be somewhere between 40,000 to 80,000+. Depending. Which means that you need between 40,000 and 80,000+ normal doses all at once to kill 50% of test subjects. all these numbers are scientific speculation because noone has ever died yet. the only way this is possiable is to condence the THC and inject/eat it. A normal dose, according to the DEA and other sorces, is between 4mg and 20mg, of THC to produce a high. which converts into between .0000088Lbs and .000044Lbs of pure THC to produce a high. So, if you do the calculations....(carry the 2, devide by the numarator and such) It takes between 5.5oz to 3.5Lbs of pure Thc to kill 50% of the test subjucts. and the avrage potency of weed is about 10%thc according to a few studies. so, in the case of smoking, id say you have to smoke anywhere between 3.4Lbs to 35Lbs of Marijuana within 15 mins to OD on the THC
You can't die from an extremely big hit, but it can knock you straight the fuck out. I've had bong hits that, when you held the bong between you and a ceiling light and looked at the bong smoke chamber, looked like a solid white mass of...well...white. Everytime you breathed in a little you'd exhale tons of smoke. I would clear the whole thing in one breath and blow out like a steam train.

die... the worst ive seen is puking...or eyes instantly pouring liters of tears after the hit. Sometimes with honey oil your lungs take so much expansion you can't take a breath for several seconds! sometimes you think youll die cuz you seriosly need oxygen, but it always come bacvk one time or another
I've seen a kid puke when someone gave him a shot gun (not an actual gun haha) he was tiny though. The only way I could think of someone dying from a big hit was it the weed was laced with some crazy shit, but then it wouldn't really be the weed that killed them would it.
^^ Yea thats the milk, suppose to look like that... don't even need to hold the bong between you and the light, you should be able to see it clearly through a clear acrylic/glass bong. and I doubt you can die from a major hit.. Someone would just cough out all the smoke after awhile.
