Hehehe, yes, considering I have three kids and if my body allowed me to have more, I would in a heartbeat, sure, I'd go through it all over again.
At first, I thought she was doing this, but I realized (after remembering all my pregnancies) that most likely she is really really exhausted. IF you have been pregnant, you KNOW exactly what I am saying. I did post the pics and descriptions of the preterm babies, beacuse sometimes young girls just think they will have a small, yet fully developed baby. I am guessing she is just frusrated. I sure was, and I was on bed rest for all my pregnancies. My own father (an admitted rabid prolifer) asked the doctor to "just let that be born" 12 weeks before the child was due. Mainly because he was so concerned with my health carrying the baby. But, I carried all those kids, almost to the 40 week mark. It still was hard. And almost every womyn gets frustrated.
I think I probably overreacted with the adoption comment (my apologies OP), but I also noticed she is 19--not an age one is *typically* well prepared for parenting or prenatal care. At any rate, perhaps she was venting and perhaps not, but the fact is she ASKED FOR suggestions, and there ARE many ways to induce labor early...any of which would very likely damage a 33-week old fetus. I see the good in this thread now--that no one who responded actually suggested ways to induce labor.
I'm a little confused... princess, unless I'm mistaken and its two different people with very similar usernames posted the same day in the parenting forum saying she was 37 wks pregnant and wanting to know if she was in labor... hmmm... typo? just wondering which post is true because if you take advice from the one in the parenting forum to induce your labor and you are only 33 wks things could get dangerous...
The attached parenting father then chimes in. For some reason I wonder what her prenatal care was / is like. Maybe she is just guessing at how far along she is. But It probably is just two dif peeps. I meen every guy with a hangin' set lately seems to be slippin' one past the goalie lately.
Oh, I get it. The other thread in the parenting forum is over a year old. That was her first baby, now this is her second baby!
*whew* ok that scared the crap outta me thinking someone was actually going to induce such early labor... stop reviving old threads u guys confuse me
I just read through this thread and I was curious how you were doing. I'm hoping you are still pregnant. The longer you are pregnant, the better your baby will be healthwise. And trust that what you were feeling at the time you started this thread, is completely normal! When I was pregnant with my first child, (I have five) I started to feel very uncomfortable and anxious and couldn't wait to have her towards the last few weeks. My labor was induced by the doctor two days before my due date for high blood pressure. And in all honesty, as soon as she was born, I missed being pregnant. As uncomfortable as it is, it is well worth the wait. Your baby will be healthier and happier if you let him/her choose when to enter the world. I hope all is well for you and your baby.
Princess, I know how hard it is, it can be so miserable. My youngest was born at 33 weeks, and I would have given anything to be miserable and pregnant for a few more weeks. It would have been alot better than the time I spent worrying if my child would live or die. At least when I was pregnant she was with me, from the moment she was born, until she was 3 weeks old she lived in the nicu, not a very happy place. I can't explain the horror of seeing your month old baby turn blue and stop breathing, of freaking out because they are taking her again. It was probably the worst time I ever remember. I think that your feelings are normal however. The last month is tough, but hang in there, and let us know how you are doing!
