Now here's the problem. I was with this guy year and a half, (and obviously we broke up) His mom is a REALLY nice person, who always treated me like i'm her daughter.... We had a coffee today...
I don't know, it's weird, i actually didn't know what to say, especially when she started talking about him... I'm really confused...
I just wanted to hear your taughts...

Yeah i think that if you want to remain friends with your ex's mom then you have to tell her that you appreciate it if you didnt talk about him. Otherwise its going to be very akward.. unless you still have feelings for him.

Well here's the thing: I happen to understand your situation because my family is like that. My sister was dating this really nice guy but things just didn't work out for them. My parents love him and maintain (to this day) a close relationship whith him, his wife, and their 6 or 7 year old. He's as much family as my sister and we see him more than her. As you have probably gathered, he has moved on and is very happy but it didn't mean he had to give us up as well. You keep your relationship with his mother and don't get mad because she talks about him, after all, he's her son. When you move on and you will, you'll want to share you're new man with him and oneday your family. Enjoy it becase you can't always luck out and have a friend that's as close as family. ;)

im sure it all seems fine when your living it, but to me, if my mom remained friends with my ex(es), id feel awkward and pressured to go back to him constantly.
