If I recall correctly I scored approximately "80" on one of the IQ tests that I took... after seeing the score "they wanted to feel the bumps on my head." On the other test I scored ... well it's not important, really. Give the same test to a 'genius' from "another culture" and he scores "50." Dedicate yourself to teaching a child, in a positive and intelligent manner, about patterns utilized in a particular IQ test and that kid will score significantly higher than if patterns not used in the test are taught.

yeah iq scores mean almost nothing except about english and math (in the us anyways)

ive taken one and i dont tell my score but its close to average... a bit on the high but i know it means nothing.

 

That can vary quite a bit, did you have wheaties before the test ? It's interesting that we have 120's and 138's who "rock the world" and we have 170's who get by really well with a lot of "wheel slippage."

me? before i went to my test i drank a 12 pack and slept two hours... i mostly guessed- shows why it means nothing.

i still did above average but think its a crock.

more then that- only 2 percent of the US pop. has EVER taken an IQ test... i can give you sources, reasons, etc.- so why has everyone here taken one?

ihmurria.. im not saying lynsey is lying about BUT you ask anyone in the US on here and they know their IQ yet LESS then 2 percent (i was being liberal on that... some say close to .9 percent actually have been iq tested here and because mostly there is only three reasons to do it... geiunses stat., mentally disabled stat., or if there is a severe mental disorder...over wise the family just pays hundreds of dollars and spends hours and hours... the testee does not just "take a test"- the psychologist (only psychologists can give them)- and the testees answers- takes at least six hours in sessions...

but *shrugs* whatever.. one percent of US pop. has taken that test, but every US person here has and omg.. they are all sooo smart.

I took a version of it. No, not hte quizlet online (though I've done those) to get into nerd school, er smart school. Don't remember my score on it

there are a variety of abbreviated versions, to varying degrees of authenticity

yes, there are shorter versions but i dont think they are authentic. but i think a lot of people think they are or dont care.

i really am not saying lynsey lied BUT some people on here have. they had to or have taken dumb, weakened tests.

 

the webtickle one is not true, but a guesstimate. Approximate range, eh. The one I took as a youngun, I'm sure they had to modify to keep a kid interested in it (grade 3 type younguns) and to keep it from being terribly complex, calculus-level crap. Dunno what I got on it, i'm gonna ask my mom when next I see her

 

iq tests are also not very valid because the language they use are for certain types of white people and to certain types of minds...

its kinda ridiculous.

im not a fan of those tests but still people DO lie about them.

you're totally right when my psychiatrist in high school found out I had adhd and anted to test my iq as well he gave me a weakened dumbed down test...my real iq is 33 man i have come along way...shit life is harfd with a 33 point iqZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes its especially hard when i walk up stairs but it's better than figuring out how to push elevator buttons d:

I was stoned outta my Mind when I took my first.
They didn't believe the score so I did it for them a coupla more times over the next year w/similar results.
