Hey everyone, Im new to this site, as you can tell. My friend and I are road trippn' to california this fall and we were wondering if you can recommend any places that are cool and laid back, we are coming from Quebec Canda, so we know nothing about the USA really, only what we have seen on tv but you all know you cant trust what you see on tv all the time. If I did believe in what ever I seen on tv about the US I would not be traveling that way. we are also taking into consideration your presidental election on november 2nd, we are going to try and be back in our home and native land by halloween, incase Bush cheats all of you again in this election. I would imagin your whole country will be so friggn'mad that there will probably be riots, cause if there was ever a presedent (priminister in canada) like bush in canada I know that we would all riot like hell, and thats for sure. A road trip sounds really fun... hope you enjoy it! My hubby and I took a road trip from Toronto (where we live) to Arizona, stayed there for a week, and then drove back... it was the best treck. We really didn't do a lot of stop-and-sight-see on the way there, but it was cool watching the land change as we drove through the country! It was quite awesome!
