Like Williams(an Imagist poem)

The sun

shines

upon

the purple

bushes

protected by

the pine tree

next to the

sidewalk.

 

Interesting. Is the idea just to paint a simple image?

 

Precisley! Williams and his friend, Ezra Pound used this style in the 1900's They also were influential to Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg
