Ok so this summer I'm going to go back to Canada [I'm a resident] to work, well do an internship, [currently living in Brazil]. So bascially it's almost impossible to find shrooms here so I was thinking maybe if it isn't too risky I'd attempt to bring some back to Brazil, as it wouldn't be too good of an idea to try them then while I'm working and I'd like to bring some back. Anyway how risky is this in the sense of likelyhood of getting caught? What are tips to travel with them in an airplane? How would I properly store the mushrooms to make sure they don't get damage, or go bad or anything? And any other stuff about it all would be good. Thanks a bunch!!

Bringing drugs across international borders these days is BAD NEWS. Don't do it. Check up on what would happen to you in Brazil if you were caught growing a batch, and maybe bring back some spores with you if it doesn't seem too dangerous a prospect. But for the love of Jaysus, don't travel across borders with 'em.

Now somebody's free to come along & disagree, provide wonderful tips, etc.

Yah I know it's very risky, but for the sake of knowing I'd like to know more about it. Now that I'm thinking more about it, it would be illegal in the drug sense but also in the sense of bringing "a plant" back to the country, which would be double bad so I think I'll steer clear. I think the spores would be probably the best idea, as long as I suceed in growing.

    Has anyone done this?

Why don't you get some hits of acid and bring those back. That should be pretty easy. But do not even try to get shrooms through. Maybe spores, but I wouldnt even risk that.

Traveling with a plant is easy. You box it and then check it. Granted I am talking about a legal house plant. It would be quite easy to have the shrooms in the dirt.

However there is another way. I've used this a few times traveling within the states, but it should work on international flights as well. My buddy in the midwest cannot handle the taste nor texture of shrooms so he must take his in a peanut butter sandwich. When flying with the shrooms, I simply grind them up mix them into the PB sandwich and pack the sandwich in my carry on luggage. No issues ever.

I love the idea of spending time in a Brazilian jail for a couple of peanut butter sandwiches.

it definitely is not a good idea to fly drugs over international borders. However, if the OP seriously wants to do it the sandwiches are probably a pretty "safe" route.

There are species that grow wild in much of South America excepting the desert side of the Andes. They maybe easier to collect there for free then trying to transport. Also, they are legal in some countries, you maybe could could just mail order some.

look, got to the grocery store buy a bag of dried shitake mushrooms. Put dried Magic-shrooms in they're place... throw a couple other food items in not to arouse suspicion.

mail them to yourself in Brazil...
