my friends and I are going on a road trip after this semester of college ends and I'm putting together some cds for our road trip. i'm not sure what I want to put on these cds and was hoping you guys could help me out. so if you want you can list your top 25 to 50 songs that you would put on your list for a road trip.

I would just have some bands to pop in some albums. Like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, etc.

Not sure if that helps any hehe...

I do most of my long distance driving at night and ned high energy stuff to keep me awake.
a couple must haves are Keller Williams' Blazabago and Running on Fumes from Spun.
I 'll throw in "biker music for a tune of two, a couple songs about where I'll be going through, etc.
SCI Rhythm of the Road, San Jose, Little Hands,
Yonder: 40 Miles from Denver, the sheriff songs, Steep Grades, Sharp Curves
Zero: Kissing the Boo Boo, Catalina (slower but it's a Robert Hunter tune and amazing as sunset/ sunrise)
Dead: Throwing Stones, Shakedown Street, Uncle John's Band, Estimated (esp the one from Red Rocks 77..I think it was selected for So Many Roads), Going Down the Road

have fun creating, and then using the disc!

What I'd do is figure out what music originates from the areas you'll be traveling in.......makes the road trip a bit more 'authentic'. ;)
