Any classic rock shows April 10th thru the 16th.

We've surfed all the local venues we're aware of. Any classic rock shows during our stay? Or simillar?

 

Riders On The Storm with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger and replacing Jim is Ian Astbury, former lead singer of the Cult play at the Heineken Music Hall 14 April. Untill they lost a lawsuit last fall, they performed as the Doors of the 21st Century. Tickets are 36 euro and you can get there easy by Metro in about 15-20 minutes from Central Station.

That's great news. We're definatly in. Tried to buy tickets online but it wont let us. Guess we'll just get them when we get there. Unless one of you nice locals wants to get us a pair. We're good for em. Does anybody know if it's reserved seating or general addmission? Would sure like to get some good seats up front. Does anybody want to go with us? The more the merrier.

all you have to do to get tickets should be register with ticketmaster.nl

they ship tickets overseas, but the site doesn't recognize a usa ticketmaster.com login info so reregister with ticketmaster.nl and buy them asap

P.S. I just checked ticketmaster.nl and online sales are done. Sorry I am not a local or i'd help ya out!

 

Admission is general admission. Floor holds about 4,000 standing with seats for about 1,000 in the rear. Sorry I don't have the cash to buy your tickets this week, but I doubt the show will sell out. You can buy tickets at the GWK ticket office at Central Station as soon as you get into Amsterdam if you arrive by rail.
