This is a genuine question, I have read more sights than I care to mention but I still havn't come up with an answer. My young plants leaves are tending to curl downwards ( not wilting but an actual curve like a rams horn). Overall they look relatively healthy althogh some leaves seem a little yellowy. New growth seems OK but then curls as it gets older. But recently even the new growth has strarted growing with the leaf tips bent down. Want to try and stop whatever is happening while the plants are still OK.
Tested the soil PH (Miracle Grow general purpose soil) and its 6.5 spot on.I have added no nutes as I'm sure my soil should have adequate nutrition for a couple of months. Have started foliar feeding with a very weak mix of seaweed . Could my soil be missing a micro nutrient.
I am baffled as to what it could be. Temp is 85F ( a little high I know) and the humidity seems to be only 18% unless my hygrometer is wrong. Could this low humidity cause a problem. Any solutions to the curling/ mild yellowing of leaves would be appreciated.

Pretty sure there not overwatered. I test the soil with a moisture meter. It is reading about half way.

You got a twit between yer legs :) . By your resonin hippys dont use mirical grow. Dont hippys always do the stupid ignorant thing allatime? You the one talkin like a hippy baffoon. Your hemp'l prolly come out fine. Whatkinna seatcovers ya planin on? I bet you make the strongest rope around with that MG soil! Why you think Fox Farm, Plant Life, Natures Secret, DHF and other high quality plant products cost prolly 3 times as much as MG? Ya think it might be somekinda markitin stratigy? Maby they figure if they charge more youl be fooled into thinkin theyr better? Is that what ya think it is? YOUR fukkin thinkin like a hippy if ya think youl get "just as good" results with your MG soil as you would with a quality soil. -You silly. :)

Sorry lumpy bit confused as to what you mean.I'm growing ICE at the moment not hemp .Organic produce is generally more expensive ,look at food its grown on a smaller scale using organic fertilisers that take a lot longer to make. Some people swear it tastes better, is healthier for you and is better for the enviroment. This in some cases may be true.
My point being a tomato plant (or any food produce ) grown in any (forget miracle grow) chem enhanced soil will grow just fine and will taste just fine.
You may wish to pay extra to be ecologically sound but it isnt the only viable option.

Anyway lumpy appologies for offending you lets not turn this into a tit for tat argument. I'm happy to discuss the pros and cons of organic farming but lets both accept other people may have differning views.

Im not talkin bout organics, Im talkin bout quality nutes. Theres plenty of high quality chem nutes that grow Herb much better than MG. Im not advocating organics, Im advocating using quality plant food wether its organic, chem or in a bag of dirt.

I agree I wont use MG as a stand alone fertiliser. Better to get advanced nutrients sensi grow or some other nute designed specifically for weed.

If the leaves are not dieing it could simply be a undesirable genetic flaw or simply a response to soil or ferts as some strains dont agree with specific nutes or soil and produce strange leaf anomolies.Dont sweat it unless they begin dying off before their time.

Cheers meangreen plants are looking good sometimes think I tend to over anylize every little thing. One thing I have learned is not make assumptions and start adding extra nutes,
