ok, this may be a dumb question, but i got a bong the day after christmas. so i've been smoking it, and now the stem and inner lining of the bowel have gunk. i mean, the bowel doesn't have a ton, but the stem is black. now then, i was wondering, what's the best way to clean it? and, is the stuff worth smoking? if so, what's the best way to collect it? i mean, i'm not looking to smoke tar or anything worthless. also, how often do you need to clean the actual bong itself?
Take a needle, coat hanger end, anything that can scrape and scrape out as much as you can, then run hot water through it, should be nice and clean after about 10 minutes. And the black shit is resin, and if you wanna collect it put it all on a piece of tin foil, or something like that. Is it worth smoking? not really, unless you're in desperate need of a smoke.
nevermind this, save it up when your realy desperate and in need of geting ripped and theres no possible way at all to buy some stuff smoke it it will get you high trust me
^^^ hell yea... i was in desperate need the other night when i was completely out.. almost had a heart attack.. that hasnt happened in a long time... but anywho.. i scraped my bong slide and pulled out two bowls worth of resin.. got me high as a kite too... best bet is run your lighter up and down the outside of the stem first... it'll soften the resin and make it easier to scrape out
if your pipe is glass, take some rubbing alcohol (the highest % you can get) and some rock salt. Pour it in and shake hard for a few minutes. Wash it out and do this again. Do this a few more times, then wash it pretty well with warm water. Wipe down the outide of it and it will look exactly like when you first bought it.
personally, i think resin gets you higher than the pot that left it.. but it doesnt last as long... i like resin =)
