what IS scientology?

ill admit my ignorance... i about half thought it was a joke til i heard chef quit south park cause of it.

How are you ? We were disconnected and then reconnected on 'messenger' the other night and then the last text I saw was a "?" ? I've enjoyed a day of 'putting my foot in my mouth.' But it has turned into some good lessons.

anyways im okay except the recent lies that were said about me on here and being tired. for some reason seeing someone lie about me really gets under me.

okay i read it- interesting... i truly (from what i gather) see it as more of philosophical and almost general mental/physical (pain esp) thing more then a religion

do they have a "God"?

 

i could tell you about it. from the idea that influenced it to the creator to power it is today

but it would take a long time and alot of typing pm me tomarrow

I'm not really sure, I have a cursory understanding of it; but this does not mean that insight is not possible. My take on it is that they believe in a "higher self" and that acknowlegdement of the truth leads to clearing the mind towards a state of consciousness called "clear." As I recall, they have stories of being(s) that are connected to, and responsible for, all humanities origins. I sense in connecting with Scientologists that they are not open to other spiritual paths and believe these to be inferior, however I may be incorrect about this.

I hope that human beings advance in true compassion and wisdom in dealing with one another; that we do not prey on one another out of a need "harvest" something of anothers spirit but instead recognize that the rate and the way in which each of us individually evolves is unique.
