I'm seeing the movie this friday. It interests me just because if your fighting for the right cause... you can't go wrong. Unless you take it too far and get someone pregnant.

I saw this movie Saturday afternoon and was powerfully moved. If you get a chance at all, this one is a must-see.

I saw it on Friday, and I liked it overall. It's obviously better than most of the garbage churned out by Hollywood, but I think that it probably worked better as a comic than a film. The mask just seems slightly cheesy after an hour and a half or so. And, unfortunately, the film does resort to a few cliches. But still, it's definitely worth seeing, and you should be entertained.

I enjoyed the movie, it was not amazing. I had some expectations built up for it, they were not lived up to, but I was not dissapointed to badly. Some of the movie was just too cheasy though- the end where V loves Evie was just a little to lame for me....They could have done that well but they didn't.

The notes/autobiography of the lesbian women V was imprisoned with seemed to be done just for the shock and political effect of it. The story I thought was glazed over and portrayed almost unimportantly compared to the rest of the film....
I agree with Tom and think that the DVD will have more. I hope the fix the whole notes/autobiography part with added signifigance. But I felt like it was just in there so people coudl say "Yeah! I like gay relationships too!"

and yes when the explosion happens it is awesome.

for as long as the human race has existed, there have been occupations and freedom struggles (fights for freedom) hence our fathers and theirs have all been terrorists ..either occupyin, which is also a terrorist form or the ones fightin the occupation

to me, the occupiers are the terrorists and freedom fighters are just that, not terrorists!
