hay, i had a baby!

10 days late, but she was worth it!

here she is with my mw. we had a wonderful home-water-birth this evening. she was born about 5 minutes after the mw got there LOL. i'll write up a proper story in a few days.

 

oh, Olivia Jo is her name.

oh, that's my wonderful, beautiful midwife who arrived 5 short minutes before the babe came out. I was on the phone with her panting through the contractions with her in hopes that i could hold the babe in till she arrived at my house. it was freaky fast in the end. i'm sure i could have pushed her out before then but i really wanted th mw to be there. i'd never done this part of labor without an epidural so i was kinda scared.
