I'm a new hippie. Who can teach me how to make jewelry, clothes, and bags?

depends what you mean by 'new hippie', hippie is not a fashion label but more of a philosophy and state of mind. If you want to start making your own clothes as a part of that philosophy then there's loads of wonderful people here who can give guidance.

I myself am a jewellery maker specialising in dichroic glass and other costume jewellery items so if you want any advice then feel free to ask.

there really isnt a certain way to make things like jewelry, clothes and bags. one thing i do recommend is buy hemp, pieces of cloth from free stores and beads and stuff and string up and sew a bunch of different stuff together. there is no such thing as an uncreative person. good luck, tell me how it goes!

There are websites and books to help you. Just use google. I got a really great hemp knot book from Amazon. Just look around. Asking here is almost useless because everyone will tell you it's not your style or what you do, it's your frame of mind. Whatever, i get it, you dig the way of life and want to throw yourself in the style as well....nothing wrong with that. Have fun.

you can google free patterns for just about anything... I would try to find some specific things you want to make and go that route :)

well to be fair, I said that and then also offered my advice.

Do you not think it's important for 'new' hippies to realise that the clothes, the jewellery and the outward appearance is such a small part of having the philosophy and the social conciousness of what people term 'hippie'? I might be wrong but I think it's an important point to tell.

Do what feels right, make what you want, there's no wrong way.
