Somehow the director of events microphone feed has gotten on CNN

The instructions of the balloons and confetti at the end got screwed up and you're hearing him screaming on the TV - where the Hell are the Balloons - God Da...., he held that one in. What are you people doing?

Yeah, the balloon lobby has both parties by the balls. And they're not afraid to twist.

 

They were so awed by Kerry's speech that they forgot to drop the balloons.

indeed they did - I was super funny. the guy screaming for the balloons was on the air getting more and more angry for a good 2 minutes before the ultimate F - bomb. couldn't believe CNN hadn't figured out the problem before then.

ahh, I don't watch TV too often, but its little moments like this that make the effort worth it sometimes.

 

Did you see Wolf Blitzer running damage control? He was like, kissing ass. "Oh, we are so sorry if anyone was offended. We need to make it clear it was NOT a member of the CNN crew or staff who made the offensive comment. We are live and it didn't get bleeped. We are so sorry if anyone heard the words spoken." Weenie.

Yes....If you've ever read "The Real Frank Zappa Book" there is a hilarious chapter about political conventions. I think it's chapter 15....Things that begin with the letter B....baloons, bunting and bullshit!!
