Hi everyone, I hope you are all fine and happy today and everyday, Amen =)
    Napoleon Bonaparte
I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unit all the wise and educated men of all the countries and a uniform regime based on the principles of the Quran which alone are true and which alone can lead men to happiness.
!!!!!!!!!!! I have never ever read or known about this before, is this true? Did he state such a thing? If so, why did he say so, or when, what was the occasion? Please details, I didn't found answers for my questions in the above source. Thanks in advance

This was during his Egyptian campaign. He had recently conquered Cairo and was quite aware that there was much unrest over the fact that a non-muslim now controlled the country. He said it purely as an attempt to convince the muslim population that his rule was a good thing. He was not a Muslim, had no intention of converting, and thought that the Quran was crap. He also thought that Muslims were stupid and would rally behind him if he pretended to be a Muslim.

Here are some things that he did that prove for certain that he had no intention of converting and had no respect for islam. He routinely led his men on horseback into mosques, he also used occupied mosques as target practice for his cannons. He had his men go around in the streets and remove women's veils.

Yes, he did say the above quote, but again it was only a ploy to trick Muslims into following him.

He said it fairly soon after he conquered Cairo. Once he realized that Muslims weren't going to fall for it he started doing all tose mean nasty things I mentioned.
