Proposed labour law not going ahead in France

    I think it was a great victory for democracy and people power. Well done to all those in France involved in the protests.

    Well, I get the fact that their youth unemployment is at almost 25%, the current system isn't working, and from what I read of the law, it was actually quite fair.

    It wouldn't have created jobs that weren't there and if times changed and the economy improved the law would still be there. Most irrational laws were brought in during harsh times and never changed when times changed.
