i only put part of your post here because really this was never about an antichrist, but i would like to point out that although "just don't ask me to buy in to it", is a bit redeeming the rest is rather offensive to some people who are of the christian persuasion. for someone who later claimed to be a bleeding heart liberal that is not very accepting of others personal choice of religion. sorry if i sound mean, but i just felt like it is wrong to call say people blindly follow and other such comments. religion is personal choice and has no bearing on nuclear weapons and should not be a reason to be unaccepting and unloving to all people.

Ok real quick can we review the suggestion here? If Bush DROPS the BOMB then we stop everything we're doing. What would that acomplish?! The time for being a concious objector is over. The war machines much to strong for that now. Dont believe me? The Patriot act. Thats all I'm gonna say. Granted it didn't make the extension of use but still, it was used in the first place. So if you think waving a flag and holding up a sign in the streets is going to do something, especially after an act like a nuclear attack? Oh no my friends, if he had the balls to drop the bomb (Which is one of could make Japan disapear forever FYI) he certainly wouldn't give a shit about people protesting. We'd here a time of war and dire action speech about our own salvation.
chameleon_789: MAD is simply a theory (And a pretty sweet 10 dollar game) that doesnt take into account the human being. See, to me anyway, this is another American problem. We believe that we are the only country with the brains to say "NUCLEAR WINTER BAD!" This cartoonish scenario of everybody slamming that button in unison... Its just not plausable.

Lemme run it down for you right now. In the event of such nuclear war I would be doing everything in my power to stay alive. We go off of this current hypthesis. I'm just a hop skip and jump from an air field, I know how to pilot a plane (Landings still a little iffy though) and anyone that got in my way would be catching a 7.62 FMJ to the face. Plain and simple. Now the question becomes, where do you go for nuclear war... You go somewhere that would make an unlikely target for attack. In a tactical nuclear strike your going to want to disable millitary and political targets, not so much the civilian ones (if not at first at least.) There are going to be places to survive a nuclear war. Plain and simple. Because sooner or later, all the buttons are going to get blown up before the remote islands.

Your letting fear and paranoia rule your thoughts. Gardener.... Your 57.... Your war is over. Now its our war, a war where we unfortunatly cant get many people to join up because of all the fucking apathy going around. I'm not talking about a peace march or a protest where everyone does or doesn't do something on a certain day. You know what that shit acomplishes? Media attention. You know for how long? A 2 minute 30 second bleep on the evening news report. No body will suddenly sit up and say "Hey I should be doing something like that." Mainly because the garbage that comes out of these protestors mouths is so inherintly psychotic that it defies description.

I'm talking about the next civil war.

It's not going to happen. There are a lot of socio-economic political issues I could talk about why that isn't an option for anyone, but I'm going to go shoot some pool.
