Hello, I got a issue with my car and im really worried... Its maybe nothing.. As im driving along i go to brake and when i do the brake plate seems to make a noise like a dragon roaring type noise.. It feels through the brakes as though something is rubbing BUT my handbrake light doesnt come on when i brake therefore i know the brake pads are not wearing thin... My mechanic who i contacted said there was an air bubble trapped and causing that noise through a split pipe but im a bit more concerned and dont like driving much at the moment in me lil punto =( Regards The_Warden
it may be a chunk of gravel or something in between you pad and rotor, or your pad may be too thin and your light doesn't work right, you can't always trust dummy lights. Jack up the car, take the tire off, and check it out
