    You all know what I'm talking about?

    That legend about turning orange from
    taking in too much beta-carotene;
    Or the fact that sea-birds can become
    phosphorescent themselves from eating
    glowing fish; stuff like that...

    I'm in a strange mood and I'm thinking
    it'd be nice to be, like...purple, for instance.

    There has to be somebody who's put a
    product line out there for people who
    feel like being colours, right? hahaa

    So, my question is as simple
    as it is retarded-
    Where can I get me some! hehehe

    The best I've gotten is blue hair dye all the way up my left arm,
    but it's a heck of a pain until it dries.
    I find it really strange that I can't find any orally taken pigmentation like this anywhere.
    I mean, obviously it'd be a pretty narrow demographic, but still...
    Where do they hang out! hehe...

    ==========
    Found a reference to the Tauregs actually becoming blue from large amounts of Indigo dye in their clothing, the dye being absorbed into the skin and bloodstream & babies actually being born blue
    That's interesting... and very encouraging [IMG]

    wow, you've got an imagination.....
    I don't know that anyone will ever come up with something like that.....but then again, you never know.......
    you might have something there.

    Okay, Indigo is apparently toxic...
    Colloidal Silver has a reputation for turning people blue (or gray...no thanks),
    but who wants a bunch of metal bits floating around inside them?
    And beta-carotene isn't that great for smokers.

    Seems like the amounts of ANYTHING you would have to use to have an effect
    are pretty dangerous...
    Still, on goes the freakai-skin quest...

    I'm really dissapointed.
    All day and the best thing I can get substantiated it that food colouring is hard to get off the skin.
    But when you know what's in food colouring, why would you want to cover your entire body with it?

    I'm seriously bummed out...
    I want to be bioluminescent![IMG]

    lol. My cousin had a small bout with anorexia and basically only ate carrots for months and her hands and feet were pretty orange. I know that is serious and I am not laughing at anorexia, but I am talking oompa loompa. So give it a whirl. Might be fun for you. Flamingos are pink because of the shrimp they eat.
