Auditory Hallucinations

Hey! IVE BEEN UP FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS NOW AND IM HALLUCINATING AND THE MONITER LOOKS FUNNY! I keep hearing these weird rushing noises in the back of my head and like... whispers... am I going crazy?

 

And now I heard someone whistling... Shit Im freaking out man
ANyone seen the movie Waiting?

Sleep deprivation can cause hallucinations. After about a 5 days, you'll go into REM while you're awake, and you'll be like a zombie...until you fall asleep. Careful though, guys have done it for over a week, and had permanent changes in personality or whatever.

 

You can actually die from staying up too long.

But really, lay off the coke/speed/coffee/whatever drug of choice you have. Other people's mild hallucinations are boring.

(I do find it amusing that you seem to feel I find that word personally offensive... I honestly just hate the sound of itand the way it is used around here.... it is used as a huge insult, as a method to start fights, and to be as inflammatory/rude/harassing as is possible around here. Honestly, it's more negative in my area than actually calling someone a cocksucker, and there's NO need for you to use it when it does offend some people)

 

Unless offending the overly politically correct is your goal. Which is kind of noble, in some way.

You are fine. Now when you get to day six and start seeing shadow people, then you are going to have some major problems on your hands. Especially if you are driving. I once stopped in the middle of the road for no reason at three in the afternoon to avoid hitting a person that wasn't there.

Ive seen the movie "waiting". I commented about it in the movies section though. its a must see, especially if you are in the restaurant business.
