I honestly get a strange feeling when I show people my works, be it my music, drawings, trip art, etc, that they are going to rip it off... Especially with my movie. I get so piss scared that someones gonna steal it that I've actaully stopped showing people the script cause its not done and I cant do a poor mans copywrite yet.... I'm just afraid of losing these things because each one of them is personal to me and close to my soul. You know what I mean?

But you can make another one :) Do you know what Basho said about his poems? He said that a written poem is useless paper.

why does it scare you? perhaps your gift is for everybody. 'copyleft' it to the public domain and no one can legaly deny you the right to recycle your own thoughts.

OF COURSE people want to enjoy whatever beauty you create. what do you think you have the ability to create it FOR?

no one has a moral right to personaly profit from your efforts without at least acknowledging their origen. but it happens. established name studios with bottemless legal funds rip off creative artists all the time.

the only thing that can torpedo their dishonest profits is to put your efforts in the public domain where everyone can enjoy them and no one can claim them exclusively to themselves.

honor is earned by creating and SHAIRING beauty. not by egotisticly trying to hord it, however origonal in concept it may or may not be.

and in a world populated by billions, it is also inevitable that many people may find simultanious very similar inspiration as well. so we CAN'T always assume, just because something closely resembels, or is even identical to, our own work, that it was actualy stolen from us.

that's another reason why, all we CAN do, is get it into the public domain where EVERYONE can enjoy it (to NO one's advantage over anyone else!)
