I used to looove the cartoon, and the dolls smelled so delicious. I stil have mine and believe it or not they still smell!!! But what it it with this new version? I don't like it at all, it lacks imagination. SHE WEARS JEANS, whats up with that? all the cartoons are the same today. all trying to be cool and in style. i used to like the old cartoons cause they were diferent from what we see everyday at school or on the street. I mean a whole bunch of kids, with colored hair, eating from their own garden, having parties all the time living by them selves in a pastry... thats the life... i bet the new Strawbery has a computer and a cell phone the old version was definitly better. I guess they can't come up with anything original or creative. anyway back to reality haha
I don't like the new version of Strawberry Shortcake either. She's bor-ring. *yawns* I LOVED Strawberry Shortcake. I had a bunch of different dolls, but I have no idea what ever happened to them. It's too bad, because I would have loved to have given them to my daughter. She really likes Strawberry Shortcake too, but she's only seen the new "trendy" Strawberry Shortcake. I even had a bigger sized doll, Baby Apricots I think she was called? And when you squeezed her belly, her "breath" she smelled like apricots.
DAMN! Here I thought you were gonna wax eloquent upon the delights of whipped cream, fresh strawberries and shortcake. I've been gipped!
Awww, I still make homemade strawberry (well, and other berries) shortcake in the mornings sometimes for a breakfast treat. Pile it high with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and homemade whipped cream. Good stuff!
