I was having a crap day too. Just found out due to the latest hail storm we are going to have to replace: Our roof Our pool shed roof Our pool cover Our back patio Our concrete around part of the pool Gutters around the house a window in our bedroom Yes, we have home owners insurance for this with a $500 deductible, but I am in the middle of a very difficult semester in school, I have a ton of things to get done in the next three weeks, and now I have to deal with all of this? Well, not really. My husband calmed me down and he's taking care of all of the arrangements. I was so stressed out over it today though. Seeing him walk up to my office carrying these flowers just made my day.
Wow, sounds like you all had a lot of damage from that nasty storm the other day! I was looking out our windows and thought for sure we were going to have a tornado here, man, it was wicked out!
I know, and it didn't seem all that bad. I guess our area was declared a disaster area according to our insurers. I just hate the fact that out rates are sure to go up now. That and I wish they would have declared the fence needed replaced. That thing DOES need replaced. Still structurally sound, but looks old and beat. I was manic this morning. But then I was calmed down and realized how fortunate I am to have a home. To have a family. To have a job. Now I feel lucky.

We are leaving in about 10 minutes to go see Jesus Christ Superstar - the on stage production. We are going with one of D's work-mates. His wife is singing in the chorus! How about you?
Cool! Me? Nothing! All of the kids are in bed, my hubby just ran out to the auto parts store up the street and will probably be cleaning the rim he bought the other day out in the garage. Then again, I could always seduce him.
