I just realized something. I was just sitting here and it suddenly came to me that the world would be a much better place if everybody was on drugs. seriously. Everybody would at least be nicer to everybody else. In an ideal society, drugs should be as abundant and available as water itself. FUCK that would be sweet. Man at least salvia's still legal. Fuck the government all they want to do is ruin everyones fun. FUCK. but seriiusly if you think aobut it, there would be no wars cuz everybody would love each other so much. Peace, love, and happiness would most likely rule the world. whatever.

I believe that most of America's on the new non-chemical drug: TV. I think that if Karl Marx was alive today, he would call it the new opium of the masses. Marx needs his opium too! Lol I believe that everyone has their own form of herion, whether it's a drug, religion, tv, whatever. Drugs are escapisms, which is what I call tv. I don't believe that most drugs are bad when used with care. Tv is the same way; it is not bad in small doses, it can become destructive when it takes over one's life. My roommate would rather watch tv than go to the bar, his other drug of choice. Hell, he'd rather watch sex on tv than actually participate. Where's the benefit of that? Strong arm muscles? The word "drug" is far too broad to justify this statement. I everyone were on crack, there would still be wars. If everyone was drunk, there would still be wars. And a constant state of drug induced highs is no way to live life. A temporary "escape", as others put it, sure. But if everyone was on some drug ALL THE TIME life wouldnt be life anymore...
Alright maybe I was high at the time of that statement(maybe i still am), but that doesnt mean im totally wrong. All of you jump on me like im some wack stoner that doesnt know what the fuck hes talking about. Fuckin hippies. Anyways, all im saying is that if drugs were legal(lets say maryj), then people would GENERALLY be more freindly and kind. Reasons for this: one, the drug war would stop. two, people wouldnt have to kill and steal for their drugs. three, And iim not saying that we should all be on drugs ALL the time. That would kind of be impossible. Im just trying to legalize marijuana and any other drug I can becasue thats who I am. I dont know what the fuck im tlaking about here. That brings us to another question, why do people do drugs in the first place? some do it to be badass, which is the most retarded thing ever. Others, like myself, do them to open my mind, appreciate my suroundings, enhance my creativity, and yes get an "escape" from everyday life. Is anything wrong with that? if everybody else did drugs for the same reasons, the world WOULD be a nicer, if not better, place. I know it
You're forgetting about the come down man. If everyone was high constantly then yeah, sure life would be enjoyable but what about when they come down? Wars would be started all over the place! Also if everyone was high all the time, we wouldn't realise how good it was because we would have nothing to measure and compare against.
drugs can only get you so far...and once you get there, wherever that may be, you'll be on your own..I found that out the hard way. Hopefully you'll find that out someday. Drugs are really not the answer for anything. They're good for fun, but they'll never help with world peace or freedom..only people can do that.
