Yeah, if you gave them a bowl and a gun, they'd use the bowl before the gun and then they wouldn't feel like shooting anything afterwards anyway...

 

definately ban it, at least that way the police can't use them. Just this morning police shot someone dead near my house.

 

I own firearms. I'm not a violent criminal... I'm not even a regular criminal. Nor am I a vigilante.

I'm a protective person, and if someone around me was in danger, I'd deal with it. It rarely requires shooting anyone, but if it did, I would.

Banning firearms won't work. People would be just as violent, they'd just have to shank each other... all you'd be doing is making crime less convinent.

You should look at the causes of crime, which are largely poverty and lack of education and oppurtunity, rather then some arbitrary stripping away the ability of citizens to defend themselves.
