it's all hopeless

it seems like trying to live simply, love everyone, and work towards peace is completely pointless. there's the ozone deteriorating, gas prices heading so high soon we'll all be isolated, and the endless amount of people who are intolerant and full of hate and completely unwilling to change. there are so many problems, and now the "situation in Iran" which is really just an excuse for us to use nuclear weapons and start a whole god damn world war. every person who has made a difference has been shot and killed (just off the top of my head, there's martin luther king, john lennon, and kennedy) and people are being put in prison for life for manufacturing harmless drugs that are known to enlighten. it seems like absolutely nothing is going right in this world. and i am completely powerless. i don't know what to do... the worst thing is, most people don't even give half a fuck about the state of the planet.

is there any hope? is there any reason at all to be optimistic? i don't see any.

 

Awwww! Please dont talk like that! ..... youre making me depressed. lol. But yeah... I too ponder this sometimes. But we gotta hold onto hope, ya know? without hope I would have nothing else....

Prismatism - Man, I hate to see such a wonderfully beautiful spirit such as yourself gets your hopes down! I've seen quite a few of your posts and you have some really amazing ideas up in your head ... your bright, your inspiring, your wise, but most of all you have understanding. You know what needs to be done, and you know how to do it. Yes, sometimes it seems like no matter how hard we try to make a difference in this world, it all goes unnoticed. But that is so untrue. I know more people look at me and laugh me off, or just think "hes just another bun-out hippie" when they see me. But I don't care ... because there are those few beautiful shining spirits that I come across and they understand ... they are inspired ... we share a moment of connectededness. And to all the other people with their negativity ... I am making a diierence to them as well. Even if all I can do is make one person smile ... that is more smile than would have been around had I not been doing what I do best ... being free.

I'm gonna leave you with a little somthing a shining spirit by the name of Janis Joplin said ...

Keep you spirit high ... We may not be able to change the whole world with our very two hands, but we sure can do a whole hell of alot.

It is hopeless.Sit back and enjoy-ah tha fireay ride-ah! The gates of hell-ah are upon our very souls-ah! Seriouslly... I think the world is beyond change at this point. Alls you can do is speak out in public with opposing minded people and do what you do. I say fuck all to laws and restrictions and let my personal morallity dictate my life.

Its all fucking true and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it. In my eyes, I think it is even worse nowdays and continues to worsen. You mentioned the people that have been shot due to being a humanbeing trying to make things right. We need to see more of that because if you get shot trying to prove a point then hey, you were right after all! We make death seem so horrible when it is actually the exact opposite. There shouldn't be such sorrowing funerals instead there should be big ass carnivals with rides and cotton candy.

 

It is true, we are on the brink of darkness, for some reason our leaders always bring us here and it is up to us to pull back, turn around and head towards the light.

 

I try not to worry too much about what i will or wont accomplish... i am too excited to see what happens after i die to pay attention
