What do you mean? They take a portion of your money whenever you make a transaction. I recently sold a road bike on ebay and they took about $30 from my profit because the person I sold it to used paypal. They make good money, trust me. Ebay owns paypal (which everyone usually wants to use as payment), so they are rich.
