Sorry interval I'm kind of "reviving" this thread (it was on page 3) because I think it's great and an important point. It is annoying when people bring back super old posts, they are not in context anymore! The situation is usually changed by then, they are simply not relevant anymore. It's just rude. The reason this person does it is for attention. Apparently it is the only way people will notice her, or at least she thinks so. What a way to make a name for yourself, by annoying people. It's not necessary. We like you as you are, no need to bring negative attention to yourself. Seriously.
I have to disagree here, I'd rather have someone revive an old thread to add their comment rather than create another and use up more bandwidth.
Not really. Alot of them are about the forum switch over, that happened months ago. Some are personal experiences that most people probably don't want to reread or remember. It's not like this happens rarely either. There is one person who does it constantly even though people express their annoyance at it.
but u have to admit there are relevant ones...not all are personal experiences...i mean come on this is random thoughts...
] Yeah that's what I was referring to. I guess that's not what this post is referring to. I can see how reviving threads in this forum would be pretty pointless..
Willy- I don't like it, it's just my opinion. AreYouExperienced- I fully agree with you there. That is also an inconsiderate practice. Repetitious threads in those forums are annoying. But here it is different.
it can be irritating. It's been happening a lot in the women's forum lately. If it's advice on personal shit from like, three months ago it's fucking useless to revive the thread. Some threads are worthy of being revived (ie if the boobie club thread fell back a few pages [as if it ever would], that's a thread worth reviving)
