Neil Young has just finished writing and recording a whole CD of protest songs about Bush & the war in Iraq. In fact his lead song will probably be "Impeach the President"! The CD was recorded with a 100 voice choir. It should be pretty exciting and influential. Not too many musicians of Young's caliber have been willing to step out and take such a radical stand for fear of losing part of their fan base. I think he already went through that stage in the 80's, but unlike many people out there, I will say that I own Trans and think its awsome (even the techno version of Mr Soul) and his cd Everybodys rockin'... Damn I love that song "Wanderin" But don't forget Neils extreme conservitive views during his country music phase
