I'm paranoid that these forums are run by the FBI...a way to keep tabs on all those hippie types, to make sure no new mind expanding drugs are on the scene or no revolutions are being planned. What better way is there to gather all of em up in one spot and get all their information than to just toss the word hippie on some forums, and add in sections like mind fuck, psychedelics, paranoid, america attacks and so on. Its the internet, and the youth are addicted, hippie or not, and everyone is trying to find that niche that just seems so hard to find these days in people, cause everyone is so brainwashed. so ya hop on the net where you feel you can really speak your mind and not be afraid, type in your ideal niche, and join the forum! So the feds have discovered this little loophole in their grand scheme to drain us of our individuality and they went with it. They figured "hmm, this may work in our direction, lets trap the most anti-establishment types in a hippie forum and see what they're up to! We can even have some fun and pretend we are hippies and mock the fuck out of them!" Sometimes I'm really scared of the internet...

I doubt it. I'm not a hippy though, atleast not in the steriotypical sense of the word, but I do believe in love and peace and that we should fight the establishement (and become socialist).

Most politicians aren't out to drain us of our individuality, or they don't start out that way. Corporations put pressue on them to get their way, and pansy politicians give in.

We're pretty sdnfdks. The revolution isn't going to start in the U.S.A., that is for sure. We are actually I'd say the least likely to have a revolution, because we have the most brainwashed conformists % wise than any country in the world.

Would you be scared if I told you about a computer program that keeps tabs on every person in say, a large building, such as a corporation that keeps tabs on its employees? We'll, they don't exist now, but in the future I expect that they will. You will be called into the bosses office because you've been going to the bathroom too often, or any other irregularities in behavior. Conformity will become manditory, and our society will be doomed.

I hope the rest of the world will experience a revolution and save us. Its prime time for revolution because the United States is too economically fucked up to support any of the corporations wishes in dominating small countries. For example, our government helped keep the oppressive bueracracy in power in Saudi Arabia as long as they keep the price of oil low. We can't do that now.

I kind of feel that way about group hug. Some of the stuff confessed there, like murders, rapes, paedophilia, terrorism etc. would be a great deal of help to law enforcement agencys.

Of course, on the internet you can never really tell if people are just making things up. It'd be a waste of time to follow up every claim, unless you had a huge computer to do it for you. So.. I doubt it.

camilion and lost in smoke: have you ever heard of "data mining" in think that's the term. you need to check out democracy now and alternative indipendent media. yes such things ARE going on. not neccessarily here but, the internet is public media and while there's a gazaga ton of stuff to sift through, well sure we're all being in a sense watched, not just here but lots of places, and not just the more obvious of us. ever hear of cointel during the vietnam era? yup that kind of thing is still going on. more actively encouraged under bush then had been previously. what do you think his bypassing f.i.s.s.a. is/was all about?

i'm not saying be affraid of the internet. just be carefull of inadvertently saying anything you'd be hesitant to stand behind. just like an unincoded phone line. only here you're not having a private conversation. what we're saying is SUPPOSED to be public. that's the whole point of saying on the internet. isn't it?

what i say on the net i say because i WANT people to hear it and think about it. if you immagine any conversation you have over an unencoded phone line, let alone 'in clear' on the net, is by any streatch of the immagination priveledged and private, think again. this isn't something to be frightend of/by, just one of those little realities to keep in mind

if anyone can say anything, and anyone can listen to anyone say anything, then ANYone CAN listen to them saying it. that's not paranoia, that's just common sense obvious, or ought to be

umm reply to original post your right the fbi is watching reading listening to everything we say for example they have are phone taped i know this because during september 11th the people in the building used their cell phones to call their love ones on their cell phones and some how these conversations were recorded. now their are 2 possible reasons for this 1 they new the attacks were going to happen so they recorded every one using that cell tower during the attacks or 2 they record every conversation every where. and the fed are all over this sight for example this one kid was like whats the name of some good dealers in hattiesburg mississippi and i will say about half the people in hattiesburg push so this was just a fed looking for a name
