Barefoot season is upon us (well me anyway)

I envy those of you able to barefoot consistently during cold weather; I REALLY envy those of you who live someplace relatively warm for much of teh year. That said, spring is here, and spring-like weather is starting to make some cameo appearances in northern Ohio. I have doffed my shoes for a couple of barefoot outings in the last few days. So far they have been brief (it's still cooler than I like and my feet have grown soft and weak), but I am looking forward to spending more and more time barefoot.

Well, I'm really just rambling, but I'd like to wish everyone happy barefooting.

Yep, spring is coming here in central Indiana as well. I've bf a couple times this season and I can't wait for the summer!

Wohoo, Canada! The land of ice and snow!

 

yeah, it's been real nice lately here in Detroit. Today was heavenly, felt so good walking around barefoot. Pretty much anything above 40 degrees is ok for barefooting, but today, at 55, was amazing. Tomorrow it's going to be almost 70, i can't wait.

 

AMEN!!!

It's supposed to be 60 degrees out this weekend! I'm going to run around outside barefoot, in every type of grass, soil, dirt, gravel....etc I can find!!!!! My poor feet are becoming little pussy feet, all soft and what not. BOO.

 

spring happened here..today, really. i'm extremely excited about the prospect of comfortable barefooting....

 

Im doing my first barefoot hike of the season Saturday. I hope my feet are up for it.

 

Yup, I, too, have been barefooting for hte last couple of days again.

 

Today's high is 68 so I'm bf to class! Yea!

i hate shoes. whenever I can kick them off i will! I soooo can't wait for summer!

I haven't had to wear shoes since February. It's been nice and warm-70-80 deg. most days for the past month and a half!

yeah, even in canada we're getting great weather and the shoes are off!!!!!!! yey! And if not barefoot, at least there's always flip flops! regardless, whatever i can do to keep my feet outta them shoes, I'm gunna do!

 

I went to Florida about 2 weeks ago, my feet were so warm in the sand I loved it. It's starting to get pretty warm here, I've already been kicking my sandals off in school.

 

It was 92 degrees in southern New Mexico today. I've been going mostly barefoot out and about and even at work for almost two months. I could never move back north!

 

My boyfriend and I went on our first barefoot hike of the season yesterday. It was wonderfully soothing!

 

Yeah spring is here and i was barefoot all the time when i was on mountains!I wish i can go back soon,the grass was so soft and it felt like jely

Where'd you go for the hike? How was the terrain? I'm looking forward to trying a barefoot hike myself, but my feet have grown quite soft after a long, shod winter.

It was so nice, with lots of different textures!
