I used to be really into wicca, I used to read alot and sometimes practice rituals and spells that I made up o my own. I also meditate a lot, and i feel I have some psichic abilities. I also believe greatly in the powers of the elements. so let me get to the point. my husband had a heart problem about a year ago, his heart would beat really fast all of a suden and would get chest pains. so i decided to try to cure him myself, y meditated and concentraded on what i wanted him to feel and how i wanted all his symptoms to go away, and just eliminate any negative energy from his body... well it worked, he never felt it again. but i never actually realized what i had done. the other day he reminded me of it. he had a headache that day so i tried the same thing... he felt better right after i finished, and i felt kind of weak. when i do this i actually feel the energy rushing through my body... it prety wierd. but i'm not sure if its just a coincidence or am i actually making this happen.
I would say that what you did deffinately contributed to your husband feeling better, whether it was the only factor in helping him is another question. Congratulations in performing such an effective couple of spells though!
Definately had an effect. Reality is a holographic game - we make it what we want as long as we realize that we can. You obviously can. I heard a great question and answer from one of my favorite authors on this subject. "When will the human race be free?" "When it remembers that it already is." Someone with the finger on the button has no power if they don't know it exists, that they can press it, or how to press it. Same things with (most) people, though a great many are waking up and breaking free of this prison.
the power of suggestion and the power of social / emotional support did contribute. but thats all in my opinion.
The did a study not too long ago where it showed that people who prayed/meditated for someone else didn't do any better (actually, they ended up worse) than those who weren't...
Now replace prayed/meditated with prayed and you'll have a reference that is totally irrelevant. It was a study of prayer, not meditation.
did he know about your meditation when u did it for his heart? remember we do have control over our own bodies, in psychology its called bio-feedback we can increece red blood cells or even controll the rate of our heart, even in hospitals they have sessions like this. in example i have not thrown up for ...shit im 16 i think the last time a threw up was either kidnergarden or 1st grade so i was 5-6 thats 10 to 11 years barff free, i always hated the idea of it so i dont allow myself to do it, this is also the reasson i barley get sick, mabe 2 colds a year and some allergies. i do belive however that we can "will" things to happen, i think it is very very hard to do, but lets face it what is the other what is it 90% of our brain used for?
