who likes what skip is doing to hipforums?

I think some of hte subforums are a little unnecessary, but other than that I like it.

I didn't really notice MAJOR changes, but the minor ones I like...despite the site being s-l-o-w sometimes.

if he or someone with the time would do something about these somewhat inconsiderete half a page sig pics i'm sure many people wouldnt mind a bit, expeciely those on laptops

 

started thinking about this, and ya know what, the biggest difference between the hipforums today and when i first signed in as rddg 6 years ago is the amount of people on it. it wasnt as good then either in alot of ways, there where far fewer people starting threads and many of those that did had this long time click going on and where often rude to newbies. some of them are still here, but they mostly just post in privete forums, kinda taking a heck with it, let them have it attitude.
on the plus side of that was it was much easier to find a good thread, the majoriety of the more prolific thread stearters where mature inteligent people, and since there thread would not simply get lost they thought them out with care and the discutions where inlightning.
there was a very small "us and them" attitude toward the hippychaters going on too, but I wont get into that

I like some of the new sub-sections in each forum. If there's a recent change that I don't like it is that only the last 100 postings from an individual are accesible in the personal profile section. I would like to see this changed back if possible.

It didn't used to be limited to the 100 latest results, however, and I think that's what he's referring to.

Ok, I'm confused. It seems like the guestbook has disappeared for some people and is still there for others. I don't understand that. Even a guestbook entry that I made for one person yesterday that had a number of other entries in it-the entire guestbook has now disappeared, and there's a picture in it's place. Have some of the guestbooks been moved somewhere else? I like the concept of the guestbook but don't understand what's going on with it.

 

Well, the one I was referring to reappeared, but it seems like there were a couple of people that didn't have guestbooks on their profiles that I wanted to add entries to. If I can find those I'll let you know.
