got a new pipe for free from my friend... he got it for free clogged and couldn't do shit with it.. well I managed to be able to toke from it.. but I got it resting in isopropyl 99%, will that help unclogg it and clean it right the hell out? Yea its my first pipe and I like it very much
just wash it make hot water run through it or put it in boiling water, use alcohol whatever...your friend is a bit clueless thinmkin he cant do shitwith it dont ever smoke with a clogged pipe it wastes weed and just sux ;p

hot water tends to make the pipe expand, and when it's cooled it will contract. This will make any underlying cracks in the bowl (every bowl has them, most are microscopic) a hell of a lot worse, and can break it. Of course this is assuming it's either plastic, glass, or wood. Metal should be fine (though the treads could theoretically get fucked up).
The rubbing alcohol you're using will work just perfect. Add some rock salt to the ISO, put it in a bag, and shake the daylights outta it. All those cleaners that you can buy (formula 420, ex.) are pretty much just rubbing alcohol and salt.
i have a pipe just like it. the clogs are usually in the removable plastic mouth piece, because it has such a narrow tube for the smoke to travel through. very tough to clean. a long piece of wire could burrow it way down the narrow tube to loosen the resin clog. then i recommend using the alcohol method on the plastic piece. but as for the wooden part. i dont know if id recommend soaking alcohol into it. because it would take a long time to evaporate out of the wood. but at least you got 99%, not to many other things that will harm you left behind in the wood.
