I need to make a decision and i need all the HELP I can get!

I'm a highschool senior and Im in the process of deciding where i should go to college. I got accepted to NYU and University of Maryland: College Park. I know that NYU and NYC has a huge gay community, but does anyone know about the gay community in Washington D.C. or UMD. I want to make sure that im gonna go to a college where im accepted and there are plenty of places to go. I dont want to be partying at the same club every time i go out. The only problem is, UMD has more to offer as in academics, but if it makes that much of a difference i would rather go to NYU. Tell me what you guys think. Thanks

I just spent some time with a search engine checking to see what it says about the University of Maryland and gay life there. The university has a gay student group and offers a certificate in LGBT Studies. It sounds like a pretty gay-friendly place.

Washington is a big enough town that there are going to be plenty of gay clubs at any given moment.
