hi there, just have some help for Americans who have trouble rolling joints...(and theres a reason i say americans)
its true, little joints burn way to fast and are often hard to roll tight. and if u roll a big joint rong, well u waste ur weed. I was recently hanging out with two europeans - a english and a french kid. They roll all their joints HUGE and i mean a small one is like a spliff to us in the USA. But, they fill it with have tobacco. Im sure we've all heard this but it works real well for a number of reasons:
    1. its much easier to roll. processed tobacco is broken down perfectly and is much easier to roll than herb.
    2. It allows u to put less weed in a larger joint. larger ones seem to be easier for me to roll, all the room makes it easier to tighten it.
3.it smokes MUCH slower. the biggest problems with j's are how fast they burn, often resulting in "canoeing". the tobaco burns slow and evens it out, one of the reasons blunts go so slow.
    4. the taste is a bit smoother, tho i love the taste of herb, it makes it easier on light smokers who would otherwise cough up a hit. fiddle with the ratio of herb/tobbaco till u get the rite taste
    5. the high it gives you is different. really. the unfiltered tobacco smoke mixed with the thc give you a heavy nicotine buzz, even for long time cig smokers. you don't really notice the the nicotine's effects, but rather it seems to increase the high by 5 times, but only for a little while. So basically, you get REALLY stoned for like 20-30 min, and then just normally geeked for however long it lasts.

So give this a try, its a much more relaxing/social way to smoke... not trying to get as faded as possible as quick as possible.. goes to show that europe kicks ass - not a bunch of dope fiends like us ugly americans(j/k).

I've always considered this, but I don't like tobacco really, and the nicotine buzz I can do without. It sometimes makes me sick. I love a nice joint every now and then, but I'll be American-esque and stick to the bongs.

here in australia, lots of poeple even put tobacco into the bong, but i dont. only in joints. its true that it makes it easier to roll. but theres other benefits too. if you have tobacco, then the joint that is burning is half tobacco, so you burn half the amount of weed. its more unhealthy yeah, but since when was smoking anything healthy?

tobacco burns at a lower temperature. however i dont know if i can agree that it burns slower than weed. tobacco has chemicals on it that are there specifically to make it burn more, thats why when you light a cigarette, it burns to the end. normal joints though, if you lit it and left it on teh gorund, it would normally go out eventually. anyway i dont know about this, this is jsut form my experience.

but yeah, tobacco also makes you higher, its a fact, it jsut doesnt last as long. scientists should do research into that.

but tis true that tobacco also makes some ppl feel sick, but thats mainly a psychological thing, not the actual effect of the tobacco.

anyway, if youve never tried it, then try it, otherwise your an ignorant fuck, to put it bluntly. (haha, pun)

one thing to watch out for is tho, not to smoke with tobacco all teh time. if you smoke joints lots, and smoke with tobacco lots, you WILL get addicted to nicotine.

Hmm so tobacco is more harmfull then Purely smoked weed? well thats a crock of dung... Tobacco has much less tar in it. If u make a joint with tobacco its a MUCh better smoke Cus its helps burn ALL of the weed in the joint instead of having red blims falling out all the time. And makes it much smoother.

I dont really notice the effects of the tobacco wen i smoke a joint, i first used tobbaco to make joints only, i never had smoked a cigerette for a long time after starting weed but wen i did i got one hell of a head rush even after using it with weed for so long.

Weed is stronger then tobacco and i think it makes tobbaco much less effective somhow so i dont think any1 needs to worry about it. I have also never been addicted to nicotine, but i dont really get addicted to anything anyway.

yeah, i was mostly talking to those who already smoke cigs.. but no one has to go calling me philip morris. im not advocating smoking cigarrettes - i agree the marketing by tobacco companies is fucking horrible, and you don't want to get addicted if ur not already ( but i have my doubts that smoking a few joints with tobacco will get someone seriously addicted, i mean the weed is what people are really trying to smoke). So if u really want to get away from the whole evil-corporate part of it, u can buy uncured or small-business made rolling tobacco. u could even use pipe tobacco, which has far less nicotine. id actually prefer this, as rolling tobacco is slower burning, better for rolling and to me tastes a whole lot better. my friends and i are all cig smokers, so we usually go the easy way, but it is possible to smoke tobacco without being a philip morris posser fake(like me i guess).

MJ has more tar but tobacco has WAY more carcinogens.
Another tip for rolling with tobacco.

Roast the tobacco in the cigarette. I saw this in a hostel in Amsterdam and many of the kids were doing it, it rocked and the tobacco tastes majorly different.

Run your lighter along the cigatte. Keep your ligter moving fast enough that you don't actually light the cigarette. You want to brown the paper all the way arround, sorta like roasting a marshmellow. You can actually see the fumes rise off of the cigarette. The break open the cigarette and roll a big fatty.

Tobacco just makes my cannabis taste like crap.

I've tried rolling a cone of cannabis/tobacco, it was mediocre at best.

yer heaps of stoners here in australia look at me and are like 'you smoke it green?' or 'you dont have any spin (tobacco)"?
    'thats so stupid man'

but i jsut think 'jees how one-tracked can you get even when youve smoked for that long'

they think your meant to mix it with tobacco.. even in bongs and stuff..

oh well, ill try that roasting trick.

I love and always put tobacco in my joints as all i ever get is resin. I also like making blunts for that extra slower burn.

yeah I hate tobacco in joints and I do smoke ciggs. I find it much more harsh, and it is true that tobacco is much worse for you than cannabis.

i forget who it was but someone was looking for actual rolling tips, this is what i do sometimes when im short on time or focus...take the paper and wrap it around a pencil or pen and stick it together, then take it off the pen and hold one end shut, then u can just pour in the herb, but make sure to pack it tight otherwise it burns way to fast, then just twist and smoke :D. lemme no how it works out for u man

    peace and love

i was thinkning, to make that method easier, to wrap the paper around a pen, but only lick the roach end, or like two centimetres f the end. then let it stick well, then u can pour in the weed but tis looser so it falls in easier, but rolling it shoudlnt be hard because the fold/shape is already started, all ud have to do is tioghten then stick.
