Batiking is my new found hoby, and the only problem i've come across is how to get all of the wax out. I can get most of it out with an iron, but alot of wax is left in there, and its not wax free enough for wearing (in my opion). So i wondered if anyone here who is more experinced that I has any advice on how to get the remaing wax out.

patience and more iron work, boiling if the fibers and dye can take it, or, as many high production artists wind up doing: dry cleaners.

    lol
I'll tell Paul. I'm the photo and writing side of 3rd Eye Candy.
I noticed last weekend in Boulder that the co-op has nontoxic dry cleaning.
Wonder how prevalent that is & if its truly nontoxic or merely less toxic.

I find that if I can't get all the wax out with ironing (I usually do, but anyway) that a regular wash cycle tends to beat out the rest of it... but dry cleaning is also a good idea.
