The other day i was out on my front porch (it's an enclosed porch with windows) smoking and this guy drove by slowly took a few pics of my house and drove off. it was really weird.
Well what i think it was is my dad might of hired someone to checkout what my mom is doing because they just got a divorce and she just bought a new house i know hes pissed because she took all his money and his harley. hes a crazy fuck.
well this kind of shit does happen. but then there's me. i like to take pictures of houses and machines and all sorts of things that look interesting to me because they do. not because of anything to do with anyone in or with them about whome i know absolutely nothing anyway. if i had a car and a good camera that could very well have been me. but since i don't, and only because i don't, i can be reasonably certain that it wasn't. =^^= .../\...
if you are worried, the best thing to do would be to take down the liscence plate, and inform the police that they were taking photos. theres nothing wrong with taking photos of things but there are things wrong with the things that can be done with those photos. so an innocent, interested photographer wouldnt be convicted but someone doing the wrong thing could be.
it's kind of hard to ask a house or a rock or a tree's consent. but as pointed out, someone innocently taking pictures of a to them interesting house, wouldn't likely be driving by repeatedly, on consecutive days and weeks. getting a licence number and having it checked out does sound like a generaly good idea, especialy so in the situation described. =^^= .../\...
