am I the only one that thinks a moderate dose of paranoia is good?

i've been often called paranoid and people often find my expectations of them offensive.(that's why i usually keep it to myself)

BUT.99% (and i do mean 99%) of the time i am right;on a couple of occasions i knew the scenario for a whole day,2-3 days in advance,in great detail.

maybe it's knowing people's psychology, maybe it's good analithical/deduction skill, maybe it's prophecy (as i usually know what will happen but i can't bring myself to change things),i incline to think it's just good paranoia.and i'm thankfull of it,as it saves me some nasty surprises and on a few occasions i can avoid unpleasant situations.

anyway, paranoia usually brings prevention.so why do people say it's bad?

paranoia is good, as long as it doesn't get out of control. being cautious and aware of situations is one of the best senses to have, but it can really impose on your world and your happiness if you let it rule you, ya know? a lot of people get very paranoid and look at everyone as an enemy, or as someone who they can't trust... myself, i wouldn't want to live that way. i'd rather be nice and careful, but still be relaxed about things. paranoia is great in small doses.

trust?:D i don't trust myself,i go to sleep lyng on the left side and i wake up on the right.how could i trust others?:p .seriously, the only person i trust is my father, and not even him 100%.but that doesn't affect my feelings,i belive that's the way things are and i've come to term with that.so i'm happy, friendly and social in a world that i don't trust.

theres a difference between paranoia and prediction. paranoia is a negative emotion. paranoia does not include rational deduction of a situation. the word paranoid implies irrationality.

however you can feel anxious from rational deductions. this is different to paranoia

oh and btw the nature of paranoia is that you forget all the times you were wrong and remember all the times you were right. thats not to say that you arent really correct 99% of the time, but it is to say that your estimate could be largely innacurate

caution IS good sense. creatures in nature couldn't survive without it. that's why they RIGHTFULLY don't generaly trust us.

Paranoia is stemmed from anxiety and when it gets in the way of your lifestyle its very bad. I can see no postives from being paranoid at all. Ive realized the extreme negatives that come with paranoia and now know I will never get rid of that feeling.
