That's surprising... I would've thought Black Dog was one of the more recognisable Zeppelin songs... [IMG]

Maybe I'm too immersed in Zeppelin to realise how everyone else on the outside of the circle views them... [IMG]

Prescense is underrated. The criques are dumb. Led Zeppelin is rated 5 star in my view.

    Yay! Another Zep thread!

Um... underated... I would say all of Coda and Presence! Also, In The Light, The Rain Song and Fool In The Rain.

I wouldn't say Coda has anything that memorable on it, as it was just an afterthought really... A hodgepodge of tracks that didn't make album cuts and doctored live performances... etc

Obviously it has good songs on it, but, for me Zeppelin albums start with I and end with In Through The Out Door.

It's fine for the casual fan or a fairly new listener, but I think when you're a seasoned veteran you work out where the real legacy lies... On stage.

ok very sorry - I skipped the rest of the thread cos I saw my answer very early on

    - 'Thats the way' lyrically is an absolute gem

    - but just in case no-ones mentioned it,I also think 'Fool In The Rain' has huge festival qualities to it and is very rarely mentioned - but if you hear it the first time anonomously on a radio - it makes you very very happy

It must be you... SIBLY is a huge favourite among Zep fans, casual and otherwise... Well, it's my favourite anyway.

I think for a 14 year old canadian girl you have a better understanding of zeppelin then most guys.

this may have been said...i only made it though reading half teh threads...

    air time = singles.

the great zepp songs that are underated are not singles.

therefore, in reality all the great songs we are naming cannont possibly get air time.

unless its a satelite radio stations or sometimes public radio stations have specials and play album sides and such.

maybe we should all start a revolution and raid the record archives at radio stations. yeesss.

Yeah but zeppelin technically only released a handful of singles.

Technically, Zeppelin didn't release any singles... I think it was only in America (and later elsewhere) that a few singles were released...

Kashmir in my mind is underrated because most people only think about stairway to heaven or dazed and confused as their big hits but in my eyes kashmir is their best and most instrumental song.
