This may seem like a dumb question but here it is. First off let me just say I am a virgin and never have shared needles. I like to Masturbate in the shower and it just occured to me that there could be bacteria in the shower. Is it possible to get an STD from your own cum in the shower if you happened to get the cum on your foot and you had a cut or infection or something. Is it possible for my cum to get infected in the shower and go back in my body and cause an std? I am the only one who uses my shower too. I have asked this question on other forums and they say there is no way it can harm me. I just want to make sure cause I tend to be paranoid a lot.

the only way I could see someone from ever getting an std during masturbation would be if they shared a vibrator/other sexy toy that came into contact with the genitals without washing it first, and that person had an std. Even that's quite unlikely to actually spread an STD, unless it's a significant infection

Sorry about the dumb question. I just didn't know if my cum could get infected in the water, then go into a cut or something on my foot and give me an std. I really don't know how STD's or aids are made. I just know its infected cum and needles. I just don't know how the cum would the cum can get infected and if anthing in the shower or drain clogging up could cause it to get infected and cause something. Sorry again.

you can only get STD's from other people, during genital contact (not necessarily genital to genital only, but mouth to genital as well)

How are new STD's made then if you can't make them from bacteria from your cum in the shower? I guess I'm still having a hard time believing that you can't get an STD from yourself in the shower or bath.
