Howdy, I'm Rob the coin cutter. Coin cutting is most famously a rare hobo art but has been around for centuries. I first saw cut coins from a homeless traveler that passed through my town when I was younger. I was amazed at his work. He refused to teach me so I (painstakingly) taught myself. This was the very first coin I learned to cut. They are very popular at hempfests, barter fairs, etc... I have quite a stock of these that have been building up and I'd like to trade or sell them to someone. I also make him smokin' a doobie. If you 'd like to see more cut coins I havesome posted at myspace.com/coincutter Let me know if you would like one or more..... thanks.
Wow, That is the coolest thing I have ever seen!! You must have lots of patience. May I ask, how DO you do that, and what do you use to "cut" it!!! So cool! Keep up the awesome work. You may want to post your work in fasion in crafts, everyone would love it!!
hi coinboy, once I used to collect world's coin, but now I've pratically given up; if interested in cuttin/carving/shaping any of them I can send it over, then we may sell a collection of worldwide carved coins (you may also find a kind of theme to follow or whatever)...this is just an idea I've just come up with, while reading your thread, in any case if you interested I've got a part of the collection to work with..
how can i get a couple three? im interested in them for gifts to real good friends who would love them.
