So a friend and I decided a few hours ago that we wanted to throw a huge hemp rally this summer. I have some experience with rallies/protests/etc... from last year when i helped get together the all species day parade/festival. we want to look like well informed teens suporting the pro-hemp scene (which we are) rather than a big bunch of stoners who want marijuana legalized so we can smoke more pot (which we are.....) im just looking for some brain storming, opinions, ideas etc... also, if any of you are located in or around santa fe and are interested in helpin out, get in touch! *make note that this idea is in a very pre-mature state....but i want to make it happen! peace and love from the 505 ----->liz<-------

Just make sure you don't call it HempFest. Like the guy above said, there already is a HempFest in Seattle. If I were you, I'd hire some good bands, find a fairly large outdoor area and set up stages. Make flyers, have food, and have people speak.
