you want quranic injunctions? here you go: ) It is obvious from these verses that no punishment is to be inflicted by one man on another for apostasy.
here's a complete list of verses for you. you can keep quoting the one hadith, but i now have dozens of verses that directly contradict that one saying: 2.57, 100, 109, 218, 257, 273 3.21, 73, 86–92, 145 4.83, 138, 139, 146 5.55, 62, 91–3, 99–100 6.67, 105–8, 126 7.124–9 9.11–14 10.100–9 13.41 15.10 16.83, 105–7, 126 17.55 18.30 19.47 20.72–4 22.40 24.55 25.42–4 26.117 28.57 29.19 39.30–42 40.26, 27 42.7, 8, 48, 49 47.26 50.46 51.57 64.9–13 66.7 88.22–3 Which one should we believe? Allah's word or the hadith written 300 years later?
Ozy Now check them they all workhttp://hadith.al-islam.com/Display/Display.asp?Doc=0&Rec=4754http://hadith.al-islam.com/display/Display.asp?Doc=0&Rec=10312 http://hadith.al-islam.com/display/Display.asp?Doc=0&Rec=10313http://hadith.al-islam.com/Display/Display.asp?Doc=4&Rec=5466No one of them committed a crime nor waged a war or rebellion. There are other haddeeths too. No one of them. I know that the aspostatized women shouldn't be killed only the man, I read some haddeeths about this.Peace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
hey Cat... Can you explain me the Aat il Kursi Surah?? It's hung up in Muslim houses to bring good luck Tiger
Ozy Again, before I had the same thought , because of these verses, I talked to many Sheikhs, I recited these verse to them as aproof that there is no punishment, however the answer as I said:Allah revealed The Quraan in the installments over a period of twenty-three years! you have to analyze these verses and Haddeeths again and again, taking into account the scriptural and historical context of the revelation. + when did they revealed (The time and Place etc) I mean these verses revealed before Allah decreed this law (punishment of apostasy) just like the verses about Alcohol, Again, there are two opinions I leave it to the scholars. I can make my own study or analysation, there is something called AlNasikh walMansookh regarding the Quraanic verses. Peace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Ozy Do you know where I can find more debates? or to which debate you're gonna listen to? where can I find it?Yeah, Salaam Dude^^ Peace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
okay cat, im just about ready to leave. ill look at the rest of your links later. but i implore you to read this book: murder in the name of allah. http://alislam.org/library/books/mna/index.html you cant just "believe" something. it has to be rationally understood. God is very clear about that. he says that all of his laws are natural and logical. this book will show you that the idea of killing apostates is irrational, and un-Islamic. Please read it without bias and try to analyze the arguments in there only. thank you and salaam.
Ozy I will read a rebuttal if there is one, but not such a thing, people think that stoning is barbaric shall I then say OH! Allah's law isn't barbaric so let's cancel stoning, Sorry Dude, I follow whatever Allah orders, I don't care about others' opinions I care about Allah's. Allah and Only Allah. Salaam ^^Peace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Hi old tiger ^^ Oh! this is totally off topic man! briefly it isn't ilkursi Surah(chapter) it is Alkursi Aya(verse) This verse talks about Allah's Characters, like, He is the Ever Living, the One, Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him etcPeace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
