It's yoga practiced at 105F and 60% humidity. Drink alot of water before the session. You will sweat alot! Do a google search on Bikram.

I used to do it when I was in better shape and it was still the hardest workout of my life, harder than running a half marathon. It's really nice though because since the room is so warm (like 100?) your muscles are really pliable and by the end of the class you can do amazing things with your body.
I would die if I took that class now ): I do ashtanga yoga once a week and then power yoga once a week and I love it. I wish my gym had more classes so I didn't have to do anything else because nothing works faster for me than yoga...and it makes you pretty hot in bed too d:

I do bikram yoga about four times a week (only started about a month ago but anyway..) and it's just amazing. My body feels so different and so much healthier. It's good for your body in so many ways, your muscles will love it and it's great for detoxing.

Bikram is trying to copyright yoga sets and poses that are thousands of years old. He sues his past students who teach if they deviate from his system. He wants to turn the discipline of yoga into a commercial franchise.

Yoga done at warmer temperatures would certainly be physically healthy and effective yoga. But because of Bikram's disgraceful lack of ethics, I will have absolutely nothing to do with Bikram yoga. Ever. The man and his "franchises" are a foul insult to everything yoga stands for.
